When someone needs to verify a connection between 2 computers, one might use the Ping utility. When someone 'pings' a machine, a small message (a packet) is sent through the network or the internet to a particular IP address. The computer that sent the message then waits (or 'listens') for a return message. If the message is replied to, the connection is good.

This remote ping allows you to initiate a ping from a remote location. In this case, the starting point is from this server, not your computer. This test will reveal that this server is able to connect (or not) to the target host name or ip address.

Please enter a host name or an ip address here...
e.g.

A domain: www.yahoo.com
A Yahoo IP: 206.190.60.37
Your IP: 38.107.179.223
